Job summary

SHC WVUHS Home Care in Westover, WV is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and perform therapeutic procedures in home care settings. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the applicable state or a PT Compact License.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible for membership with APTA or WVPTA.
• Experience as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation procedures including musculoskeletal/ ortho, neuro/motor tests, gait analysis and functional assessment.
• Delivers and analyzes physical therapy treatment with modalities and therapeutic exercise.
• Implements home programs and educates patients and families.
• Supervises assistive personnel and PT students per standards.
• Coordinates care with home care team to adjust level of care as needed.
