Job description

Amcare Pro Home Health is interviewing for Licensed Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) to add to our growing DFW team.

The right candidate would need to be a self-starter, who requires very little supervision and can exemplify the ability to supervise PTAs.

The territories are South Dallas, and North and South FTW. Previous HOME HEALTH experience is REQUIRED. Knowledge of the OASIS assessment tool is necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in developing the plan of care.
2. Direct physical therapy treatment/supervise PTAs.
3. Work under the supervision of a PT.
4. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.
5. Prepare and submit clinical notes in a timely manner.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

1. Must be currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the STATE OF TEXAS and compliant with accepted professional standards and practices.
2. Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
3. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
