Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for part-time days in Allegheny County, PA, to help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function in the comfort of their homes.

This role includes periodic reexaminations, discharge planning, and interventions tailored to each patient’s goals. A CAPTE-accredited education, CPR certification, and state licensure are required, with mentoring available for clinicians newer to home health.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health.
• Less than one year requires mentoring and approval by regional leaders.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days, and adjust plans as needed.
• Discharge planning and other duties as assigned.
