Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to help patients maintain, restore, and improve movement and function in a home health setting. You will evaluate patients, plan and adjust interventions, and coordinate discharge planning with care teams.

The role requires a current PT license, CAPTE-acknowledged education, CPR certification, and typically one year of relevant experience in home health. Benefits and flexibility are offered where available.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (CAPTE).
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health; mentoring/residency if less than 1 year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations at minimum every 30 days, modify as needed, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
