Amedisys is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Tucson, AZ. This full-time day position focuses on helping patients maintain and improve movement and function at home.

You will conduct reexaminations every 30 days and plan discharge when appropriate. Qualified candidates are licensed PTs in the state, CAPTE-certified graduates, and typically have 1 year of home health experience or eligibility for regional clinical leadership mentorship.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• One year related physical therapy experience for home health.
• If less than one year, regional approval and appropriate mentoring.

Responsabilités

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Conduct reexaminations at minimum every 30 days and modify interventions as needed.
• Perform discharge planning and handle other duties as assigned.
