Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver personalized home-based therapy for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in the Yelm, WA area. You will assess, treat, and consult on plans of care under physician guidelines, promoting independence in the patient’s own environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and staying current with treatments and technologies. A strong clinical foundation and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Preferred 1 year of adult home health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed PT treatments to restore function and reduce disability.
• Complete comprehensive physical assessments and identify referrals when needed.
• Perform tests and measurements such as ROM, manual muscle testing, and functional analysis.
• Instruct patients and families in home-based PT procedures for continued care.
• Supervise licensed PT assistants and aides.
