Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for adult home health visits in the Cincinnati, OH area. The role involves providing PT services under supervision and working within an established care plan.

Ideal candidates will have a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, current state licensure, CPR, and at least one year of PTA home health experience. The position offers full-time day shifts with comprehensive benefits and support.

Qualifications

Current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant, in the state of assignment.
Graduate from an accredited PTA program under CAPTE guidelines.
At least one year of PTA home health experience preferred for patients with varying conditions.
CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT and approved plan of care.
Observes and reports patient response to therapy to the supervising PT and clinical staff.
Promotes wellness and prevention; documents supervisory activities.
Maintains confidentiality of patient information in records.
Assists with follow-up care and coordinates with care teams and community resources.
Participates in conferences, in-services and quality improvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
