Job summary

North Idaho Home Health, a part of LHC Group and a member of the Optum family, invites an Occupational Therapist to join our home health team in Idaho. You will assess and address functional status, ADLs, fine motor skills, home safety, and adaptive equipment as defined by medical conditions.

Primary responsibilities include delivering therapy within state scope, evaluating patient status, coordinating with physicians, documenting progress, and supporting the care plan.

Qualifications

• Idaho Occupational Therapy licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license with access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of client demographics

Responsibilities

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by Idaho state laws and plan of care, coordinating with the health care team
• Evaluates patient functional status and systems as required for CMS documentation; consults with physician on therapy plan
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment and changes to condition
• Conducts patient assessments using functional ability tests
