Job summary

Patriot Homecare is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (PRN) to support home health patients in the Akron area. You’ll work under OT supervision to deliver patient care, document progress notes, and teach families exercise programs.

Qualifications include Ohio OTA licensure, at least one year of institutional experience, and current CPR. The role offers flexibility and a supportive team environment with community-focused values.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an OTA program accredited by ACOTE (AOTA)
• Must be licensed by the state of Ohio
• Minimum of one year of institutional experience
• Criminal background check required
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the OT
• Participate in preparing clinical and daily progress notes
• Instruct patient and family in exercise programs
• Assist in evaluation and development of rehabilitation plan
• Perform other duties as assigned
