Zusammenfassung

The Christ Hospital Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN home-based care in the East Hamilton, Cincinnati area. You will deliver skilled OT services under physician orders, educate patients and families, and contribute to positive recovery outcomes in patients’ homes.

You must hold a current COTA license for the state of employment, have at least one year of COTA experience (home care preferred), and possess a valid driver's license and auto

Qualifikationen

• COTA with current license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one-year experience as a COTA; home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
• Capable of all physical demands.

Aufgaben

• Provide skilled occupational therapy as ordered by the attending physician and monitor patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families and ensure safety; document and coordinate care.
• Complete accurate documentation following agency protocols and Medicare guidelines.
• Plan of Care and interventions to improve patient functional status in collaboration with the occupational therapist.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate changes in patient status.
