UnitedHealth Group in Chattanooga, TN seeks an Occupational Therapist Per Diem to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence, safety and quality of life. You will collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, document accurately, and ensure compliance with physician orders and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• CPR certification.
• Eligible to take NBCOT exam or already certified.
• One year related occupational therapy experience; mentoring allowed if less than one year.

Responsabilités

• Deliver occupational therapy services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure care plan addresses identified problems and document rationale for any gaps.
• Maintain safety and effectiveness of therapy service delivery.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active in the case.
