Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver skilled in-home therapy under the supervision of an occupational therapist. You will implement the treatment plan, monitor progress, and document outcomes to support independence and daily living skills.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and effective rehabilitation in the home care environment, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OTA program completion is required.
• Current license to practice as an OTA in the assigned state.
• Eligible to take or have completed NBCOT certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of OTA experience; less than 1 year requires mentoring/leadership approval.

Responsabilités

• Provides skilled interventions under the direction of an occupational therapist.
• Documents each visit following guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observes and reports patient responses and condition changes to the supervising OT and staff.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and occupational engagement; stays updated on OT trends.
