Cantex is seeking a Home Health Orders Specialist in San Antonio, TX to manage the clinical documentation lifecycle for physician orders and plans of care. You will liaise with field clinicians, physicians, and admin teams to ensure timely processing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include tracking orders, auditing records, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EHR. Experience in healthcare admin and familiarity with Medicare guidelines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a healthcare setting, one to two years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; related degree a plus.
• familiarity with medical terminology, Medicare guidelines, and order tracking.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, electronic signatures, and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Generate, distribute, track, and manage physician orders and plans of care.
• Communicate with clinicians to obtain signatures and ensure regulatory timelines.
• Audit active records to identify missing or unsigned orders.
• Upload and maintain signed documentation in the EHR per policy.
• Assist intake with referrals, insurance verification, and records requests.
• Generate reports to identify gaps and compliance risks.
• Support workflows that promote timely billing and patient care continuity.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all documentation.
