Qualifications

• OTA licensure required in state of practice.
• CPR certification preferred or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in home care under supervising OT.
• Follow plan of care and state laws governing OT assistants.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities.
• Function in diverse home environments and uphold patient rights.
