Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN weekday shifts to deliver comprehensive OT services at patients' homes. You will implement plans of care, document outcomes, and collaborate with the care team to support patient independence and mobility.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take or has completed the NBCOT examination for OT.
• At least 1 year of related OT experience; if less than 1 year, regional clinical leader approval and mentoring/residency may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan addresses identified problems with documented rationale when not addressed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
