Job summary

Amedisys Home Health in Tucson, AZ is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide home health OT services three days per week under physician-approved plans of care. You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and coordinate treatment with the care team in patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Active state OT license required.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program graduate.
• NBCOT exam eligibility or certification.
• Minimum of 1 year OT experience; mentoring if less.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan addresses identified problems and document rationale.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
