Amedisys is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist in Winter Haven, Florida to provide at-home occupational therapy under physician-approved plans of care. The role offers flexible, purpose-driven work with the opportunity to help patients heal at home and grow within a trusted home health provider.

The position emphasizes delivering high-quality OT services, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with RNs and home health aides.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible for NBCOT certification or already certified.
• One year of related OT experience; mentoring if less than 1 year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan addresses all identified problems or document rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of the OT service delivery process.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when the RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
