Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy that helps patients live independently in their own homes. You will assess needs, create treatment plans, and guide patients through activities that improve safety and participation in daily life.

You will work closely with families and the care team, adapting environments, training caregivers, and ensuring high-quality care with flexible scheduling that supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state license to practice OT is required.
• Valid driver's license and CPR/ TB screening completed.
• Minimum two years of OT experience in acute care or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in their homes to address daily activities.
• Help patients and families adapt environments and use equipment for independence.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate treatment plans and goals.

How you’ll make an impact as a Home Health Occupational Therapist Work one-on-one with patients when and where they need the most help – in their home! Empower patients to live safely and productively in their home and complete the tasks they want to do and need to do every day Help patients and families adapt their environment, modify tasks, and use equipment to improve participation in daily activities and improve quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Current State License as an Occupational Therapist Valid Driver’s License Current CPR, negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination Two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting

Knowledge and Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice Good interpersonal skills Knowledge of durable medical equipment
