Compassus is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to work one-on-one with patients in their homes, empowering safe performance of daily activities and adapting environments for better participation.

You’ll assess needs, provide therapy, and collaborate with families and care teams to support meaningful, independent living while delivering compassionate home-based care.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Two years’ experience as an OT in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.

Mansioni

• Provide one-on-one OT services in the patient’s home.
• Help patients perform daily activities and adapt home environments.
• Assess and modify tasks and equipment to improve participation in daily activities.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to support optimal recovery.

Empower patients to live safely and productively in their home and complete the tasks they want to do and need to do every day. Help patients and families adapt their environment, modify tasks, and use equipment to improve participation in daily activities and improve quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:
− Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
− Current State License as an Occupational Therapist
− Valid Driver’s License
− Current CPR, negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination
− Two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting

Knowledge and Skills:
− Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice
− Good interpersonal skills
− Knowledge of durable medical equipment
