Job summary

Amedisys is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive OT services in patients' homes. You will work under a physician-approved plan of care and ensure safety and effectiveness while documenting progress. Mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling support your daily routine.

The role requires an OT license for the state, ACOTE accreditation, NBCOT certification, and at least one year of OT experience. CPR certification is required to ensure readiness for patient care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• NBCOT certification or eligible.
• One year OT experience; if less, mentoring and/or residency required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and document rationale when needed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
