Amedisys is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver home health OT services in a patients’ home within Alabama. The role requires a state license, ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT eligibility, and at least one year of experience, plus current CPR certification.

You will work under physician-approved plans, ensure safety and effectiveness of services, and complete timely documentation. Travel to patient homes is involved with occasional mentoring for new staff.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible for NBCOT certification.
• At least 1 year related OT experience or regional approval/mentoring program.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide OT services under physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
