Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Idaho is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home evaluations and therapy, helping patients regain independence and safe living at home.

The OT will assess home environments, create personalized treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, while coordinating with the broader care team to ensure high-quality, compliant care. This is a flexible, potentially full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state OT license and NBCOT certification.
• Experience in home health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in their homes to determine therapy needs and safety.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home adaptations.
• Document evaluations, plans, and progress in EMR systems.
• Coordinate with physicians and other care team members.
