Job summary

Home & Care in Casper, WY is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team. You’ll work one-on-one with patients in their homes under a supervising OT, helping improve safety, independence, and participation in daily activities.

This role requires a Wyoming COTA license, ability to travel to patients’ homes, and strong communication with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Wyoming COTA license.
• CPR/BLS certification, if required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Home health experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Help patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, and safety.
• Provide ADL training, therapeutic activities, and exercises as directed by the OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising OT.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary care team.
