Job summary

Home & Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Casper, WY home health team. You’ll work one-on-one with patients in their homes under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to improve safety, independence, and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Wyoming COTA license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, if required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
• Home health experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT
• Help patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, and safety
• Provide ADL training, therapeutic activities, and exercises as directed by the OT
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising OT
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary care team

Job Summary

As a COTA, you’ll work one-on‑one with patients in their homes to help improve safety, independence, and participation in everyday activities. You’ll work closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist and our interdisciplinary care team to provide individualized, patient‑centered care.
