Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two years professional fee coding experience with one year in Home Health and Hospice.
• Coding certification required; OASIS certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and code from clinical notes for home health and hospice.
• Document recommendations for coding and OASIS edits.
• Work with AR/denials team to resolve coding issues.
• Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and federal regulations.
• Enhance professional growth through in-service meetings and education.
• Ensure timely review of OASIS time points and related documentation in EMR.
