Sweetwater Care is seeking a Business Office Manager to handle payroll, billing, and accounts receivable/payable in a home health setting. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and extensive experience with Medicare billing and CMS rules.

You will verify insurance eligibility, manage refunds and denials, and ensure timely reporting while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in billing or billing management of a home health care company billing Medicare Part A and working with DDE.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10 and DRG coding regulations and guidelines.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

Responsabilités

• Process Payroll for staff and manage accounts payable/receivable with timely invoicing.
• Submit reports and prepare presentations as needed for leadership.
• Billing all insurances within filing guidelines and follow-up on claim status and rejections.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and obtain preauthorization where required.
• Transfer OASIS data to the state accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate billing reports and ensure claims integrity.
