Job summary

Sentara Home Care in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Home Health Aide for the day shift. You will perform basic patient care at patients’ homes, including personal hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility support.

A CNA or Nurse Aide certificate is required, with BLS to be completed within 90 days. This full-time role offers mileage reimbursement and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.

Position Status: Full Time - Day Shift

Position Location: Williamsburg, VA

Mileage reimbursement is offered for miles driven between patient visits. Must have personal vehicle and valid Driver's License.

Pay Range: $15.75- $20.46

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Education

• No specific education requirements

Certification/Licensure

• CNA or Nurse Aide Certificate from accredited program (required)
• BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

• Basic and routine patient care
