Overview

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.

Position Status: Part Time, Day Shift, 24 scheduled weekly hours, schedule is flexible

Position Location: Elizabeth City, NC. We service a 50-mile radius of our home base office; lengthy drive times are required. Mileage reimbursement is paid for all miles driven between patient visits.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

Responsibilities

Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Education

No specific education requirements

Certification / Licensure

CNA OR nurse aide/nurse assistant certificate (one of these is required)

BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

Compensation

The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.10 - $29.63 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
