Job summary

Modivcare in Nassau County, NY is seeking a Certified Caregiver (PCA or HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care. Earn $19.86/hr with benefits, weekly pay, and flexible schedules. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, transport and safety; shifts day, evening or overnight.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required.
• Must be willing to work in Westbury, Hicksville, Hempstead and other areas within Nassau County.
• Availability to work day, evening, or overnight shifts; 8hr or 12hr shifts.
• Transfer experience is required; Hoyer lift experience preferred.
• Proficient in English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and safe mobility.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed.
