Job summary

ModivCare is hiring compassionate Certified Caregivers – PCA & HHA to provide one-on-one home care, bringing comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.

You’ll work in Wading River, NY with weekday and weekend shifts 8am–8pm; a NYS PCA or HHA certification is required; experience with ADLs and reliable transportation is essential.

• Experience assisting with ADLs, mobility and daily routines.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work 8am-8pm on weekdays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living; support dressing, bathing and meals; assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe and welcoming; remind about medications and support healthy routines.

What You’ll Need:

• A valid NYS PCA or HHA Certification REQUIRED
• Availability to work in Wading River, NY
• Experience assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including mobility, personal care, and daily routines
• Availabilityto work weekdays and/or weekends, 8am-8pm
• Reliable transportation

Your Role as a Caregiver:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
