Job summary

Brite Horizon LLC is seeking a Home Aide to provide essential daily support, helping clients stay in their own homes with dignity and independence. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship, while following individualized care plans in clients’ homes.

Travel between client locations may be required. A valid driver’s license, background check clearance, and compassionate, patient demeanor are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to pass background check.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
Support mobility and safe transfers.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Provide medication reminders (non-skilled).
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning).
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with errands and community activities (if applicable).
Monitor and report changes in condition to supervisor.
Follow individualized care plans.
