Job summary

Brite Horizon LLC is seeking a Home Aide to provide essential daily support, helping clients stay in their own homes with dignity and independence. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship, while following individualized care plans in clients’ homes.

Travel between client locations may be required. A valid driver’s license, background check clearance, and compassionate, patient demeanor are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders (non-skilled).
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands and community activities (if applicable).
• Monitor and report changes in condition to supervisor.
• Follow individualized care plans.

What You’ll Do

As a Home Aide, you will provide essential daily support that helps individuals maintain independence and quality of life.

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

Work Environment

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong communication skills

Preferred (not required):

• Home Health Aide certification


• CPR/First Aid certification


• Experience in home care or caregiving
