Job summary

Brite Horizon LLC in Columbus, Ohio seeks compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential in-home care, helping seniors and individuals with disabilities maintain independence and quality of life. You will perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, while following individualized care plans and reporting changes to your supervisor.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Are you passionate about helping others live safely and independently in their own homes?

Brite Horizon is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) / Personal Care Aides to support individuals in the community, including seniors and individuals with disabilities, through personal care and homemaker services.

What You’ll Do

As a Home Aide, you will provide essential daily support that helps individuals maintain independence and quality of life.

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support mobility and safe transfers
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders (non-skilled)
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with errands and community activities (if applicable)
• Monitor and report changes in condition to supervisor
• Follow individualized care plans

Work Environment

• Services are provided in clients’ homes
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Work may involve physical activity (lifting, standing, assisting with mobility)

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong communication skills

Preferred (not required):

• Home Health Aide certification
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience in home care or caregiving
