Job summary

HouseWorks in Waltham, MA is hiring for VA Medical Companion Drivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Companions to support seniors at home. We offer full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules with flexible shifts, direct deposit, and a benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance required.
• HHA Certificate or CNA License.
• Open availability strongly preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Experience as CNA/PCA/Homemaker/Companion a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable personality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, grocery shopping, and transportation.
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Document daily activities and client well-being.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, grocery shopping, and transportation.

What We’re Looking For

• HHA Certificate or CNA License

• Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion is a plus.
