Job summary

HouseWorks in Waltham, MA is hiring compassionate caregivers including VA Medical Companion Drivers, Home Health Aides, and Companions to help seniors live safely at home.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
• HHA Certificate or CNA License is preferred.
• Open availability strongly preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Experience as CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, grocery shopping, and transportation.
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
