Job summary

Legacy Home Care is seeking Home Health Aide professionals to deliver in-home assistance, including CNA/HHA/DSP/PCA/ILS support in the Twin Cities area. You’ll visit clients in their homes, offering personal care, companionship, and daily living support while building meaningful relationships and helping them stay independent.

The role emphasizes autonomy, flexible scheduling (days, part-time availability), and opportunities to grow within a locally owned family of healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willing to travel up to 35 miles from home to clients' homes.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience (CNA certification is a plus!).
• Ability to pass a multiple-choice caregiving knowledge quiz.
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per month.

Responsibilities

• Drive to clients' homes, spending at least 2 hours with each client.
• Build strong rapport with older adult clients through regular visits.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Help maintain household cleanliness and provide hands-on care like transfers and therapeutic exercises.
