Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. invites experienced Live-In HHAs to join our Nassau County service area.

You will work in clients' homes in Westbury, Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, Oyster Bay, and nearby communities, offering one-on-one care on multiple live-in schedules, including 3-, 4-, and 5-day live-ins plus weekends. Starting rate of $255.45 per day applies, with opportunities to coordinate and split cases with other HHAs and to receive sign-on and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of HHA experience.
• Valid NYS HHA Certificate.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for driver assignments.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Physical exam within the past year.
• PPD/QuantiFERON within the past year or chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
• MMR immunizations within the past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities for driver assignments.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
