Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Nassau County's premier home care agency, seeks experienced and dependable Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one care throughout Nassau County. Drivers are needed for current Nassau County cases in Port Washington, Garden City, Glen Cove, and surrounding communities.

Per Diem HHA positions offer flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend opportunities, overtime where available, and rapid onboarding. Must have NYS HHA certification and at least 1 year of HHA experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of HHA experience.
• NYS HHA Certificate.
• Valid driver's license – REQUIRED for select cases.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Physical exam within the past year.
• PPD/QuantiFERON within the past year or chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
• MMR immunizations within the past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
