Vertical Home Health in New Castle, Indiana is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our growing team. The right candidate delivers personal care and support to clients with a can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and reporting emergencies. We offer full-time benefits and opportunities to grow within the Vertical family.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to learn.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Willing to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care (min 1 year).
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or post-surgical clients.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility around the home and accompany to appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals for daily living.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Support daily living activities, including serving meals when needed.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Remindclients to take prescribed medication

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

• Assist with personal care and hygiene

• Plan and prepare meals

• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

• Perform housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
