Vertical Home Health is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our Indiana team. The role focuses on providing high-quality, one-on-one care to clients in their homes, including personal hygiene, mobility support, meals, and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and continuously learning new skills.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.

• Willingness to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility around the home and to appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients for errands.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities and meals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
