Job summary

BrightStar Care of Fort Wayne is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) or CNAs for one-on-one care in Columbia City, IN. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $23.00 per hour with full-time and part-time positions across all shifts, including weekends on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include bathing, mobility assistance, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. We value compassion, reliability, and the ability to work independently in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Experience as HHA or CNA preferred.
• Newly certified HHAs and CNAs welcome to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Home Health Aide (HHA) – One-on-One Home Care

Location: Columbia City, IN

Pay: $15.00–$23.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time and part-time

Shifts: First, second, and third shifts available

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Pay and Scheduling

• Full-time and part-time opportunities across all shifts in Columbia City, IN
• Hourly rates based on assignment, care needs, shift, experience, and qualifications
• Higher rates may apply to designated weekend, overnight, on-call, or higher-care assignments
• Every-other-weekend availability required

Qualifications

• Experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
• Related caregiver, personal care assistant, or direct support experience welcomed
• Newly certified HHAs and CNAs encouraged to apply
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance

• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.

• Document care and report changes in client condition.
• Follow the individualized care plan and safety procedures.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and personal choices.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and agency policies.
