Job summary

BrightStar Care of Fort Wayne is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) or CNAs for one-on-one home care in Bluffton, IN and nearby towns. Pay ranges from $15.00–$23.00 per hour, with both full-time and part-time opportunities across first, second, and third shifts, and every-other-weekend availability.

• Experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA preferred.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass background and pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers.
• Flexible to work in clients' homes independently.
• Commitment to safe, respectful, high-quality care.
• Newly certified HHAs/CNAs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, positioning, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Complete light housekeeping and help maintain a safe home.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with errands and approved activities.
• Document care and report changes in client condition.
• Follow the individualized care plan and safety procedures.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and personal choices.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and agency policies.

Qualifications
