Job summary

BrightStar Care Lafayette is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) or CNAs in Lafayette, IN, to provide compassionate in-home care on weekends. Shifts are 3 shifts across Friday–Monday with 20+ hours per weekend and pay starting at $17.00 per hour.

In-person work location with flexible job types (Part-time/Full-time) and opportunities for growth. Applicants must hold an Indiana HHA or CNA license, have 1+ year of home health experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Active Indiana HHA or CNA license (Required)
• 1+ year of home health care experience (Required)
• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Negative TB test and physical within the last 12 months (Required)
• Ability to pass a drug test and motor vehicle background check (Required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing
• Provide mobility assistance as directed by the care plan
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship
• Transport clients to appointments when needed
• Report any changes in client condition to the nurse case manager
