Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Home Health Admissions Nurse in Independence, OH to deliver skilled nursing care at patients’ homes during short-term recovery periods. The role emphasizes strong assessment and critical thinking in a day shift, full-time setting.

Responsibilities include IV administration, wound care, lab draws, and coordination of care across Summit and Cuyahoga counties. Ohio RN license and BLS are required, with mileage reimbursement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients through a short-term intermittent recovery process.
• Perform lab draws, including peripheral sticks and central line draws.
• Provide wound care for all wound types with measurements and documentation.
• Administer IV insertion, IV antibiotics, and IV push medications.
• Support patients in Summit and Cuyahoga counties, including Twinsburg and Solon.
• Participate in on-call requirements, one per week.
