Job summary

Croell, Inc. in Eastland, TX seeks a Ready Mix Driver to deliver concrete to customers, perform inspections, and maintain quality and safety on site. This full-time role offers night-to-night home time and opportunities for training and growth.

You will operate a ready mix truck, verify loads, and cooperate with dispatch for efficient routes while maintaining strong customer relations and ensuring proper timekeeping and reporting.

Qualifications

• Consent to pre-employment work screen, MVR check and drug test.
• Class A or B CDL and current Medical DOT card.
• Excellent communication skills, dependability and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate ready mix truck following DOT regulations and dispatcher directions.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Verify loads, inspect mix design, and adjust for proper slump.
• Complete wash downs, drum rinses and drum chipping as directed.
• Provide courteous customer service and collect payments as needed.
• Maintain vehicles and shop area clean and organized, follow paperwork processes.
• Cross-train in dispatching and related tasks; adapt to non-exhaustive duties.
