Croell, Inc. is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to join our team in Marion, IA. You will work on short-haul deliveries, be home most nights, and contribute to projects ranging from roads to commercial buildings.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment work screening is required.
• CDL Class A or B with current DOT medical card.
• Personal protective equipment is required.
• Ability to understand instructions from supervisory positions, in written and verbal form.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms.
• Reliability and punctual attendance to scheduled shifts.
• Positive attitude to foster productive coworker relationships.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate ready mix truck and deliver concrete to customers following DOT regulations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Inspect mix designs and verify load size and slump against the ticket.
• Wash down at job sites and drum rinse upon return to plant as directed.
• Provide professional customer service and assist with payment collection.
• Maintain vehicles, plant, and shop in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
