Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a skilled Energy Technician to install energy-saving measures for homeowners in the Memphis area. You will work on insulation, sealing, lighting, and water heater upgrades, ensuring quality, safety, and program compliance.

Role involves driving a company truck, performing diagnostics, and maintaining documentation while delivering high-quality service and meeting program standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in residential construction or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required; BPI certification preferred or willing to obtain within 3–6 months.
• Basic plumbing and electrical experience required; strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install energy-saving measures (attic insulation, air sealing, LED lighting, showerheads, thermostats, water heaters).
• Perform minor repairs on windows/doors and other household components.
• Load/unload materials and equipment; maintain clean, organized worksite.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues per utility specs.
• Complete daily documentation and status updates.

Only applicants in the greater Memphis, TN area will be considered.We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Energy Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead the installation of energy-efficiency upgrades that help homeowners reduce energy usage and lower utility costs. You’ll work across a designated territory, supporting utility and weatherization programs while delivering high-quality service to customers. Requires the operation of a company-provided 26-foot box truck.
