Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use, ensuring safe operation while delivering high‑quality service.

The Portsmouth branch offers a small, supportive team, a clear on‑call rotation, and a stable Mon-Fri schedule with some flexibility; overtime applies when on‑call extends hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs.
• No experience required for entry-level delivery roles.
• Valid driver’s license and Apria Driver Training completion.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs during daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Maintain high level of customer service and support to patients with life-sustaining needs.
• Load/unload equipment from delivery vehicle and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs; respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
