Job summary

Fischer Homes in Indianapolis is seeking a Designer to work in our design center, guiding homebuyers through finishes and materials, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service, and helping translate each customer’s vision into a tangible plan.

You will review agreements, prepare clear selection sheets, and coordinate with Sales Counselors and Divisions to keep appointments on track while keeping the showroom polished and inviting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service orientation and the ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to stay up-to-date on design trends and product offerings.
• Patience and customer-centered approach to the design process.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at selection and sign-off through the sale-to-start process with excellent satisfaction.
• Review customer agreements prior to the Selections Appointment for build ability.
• Deliver error-free selection sheets communicating customers' wants and expectations.
• Coordinate follow-ups with customers, Sales Counselors, and Divisions to ensure timely sign-offs.
• Collaborate with Division and Sales Managers to design speculative inventory homes based on market trends.
• Maintain a presentable Design Center showroom.
