Job summary

The TJ Maxx team in Farmington Hills is seeking a retail associate to support receiving, merchandising, and customer engagement. You will help maintain clean, organized selling floors and mentor teammates on established standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail setting is required or preferred.
• Leadership experience of at least 6 months in a retail context.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced store.
• Willingness to train and mentor other associates.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to keep the store organized.
• Create a positive customer experience and engage with shoppers.
• Tag, hang, and code merchandise; ensure efficient flow from backroom to floor.
• Train Associates on merchandising principles and processes.
• Support store leadership in meeting inventory and safety standards.
